DESCRIPTION:

Low speed aerodynamics is an important subject for aircraft that are flying at low Mach No., and for normal ground and marine vehicle. The goal of the book is to present a comprehensive and up-to-date treatment of the subject of inviscid, incompressible, and irrotational aerodynamics.

The book is divided into several chapters, comprising of basic theory, analytical approach to the solution of the problem and small disturbance version of the problem and the classical methods of thin-airfoil theory, lifting-line theory, slender wing theory, and slender body theory.

The authors are Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at San Diego State University and have involved in many research and publications in the field of aerodynamics.
